The Chicago Bridge Project seeks to bridge the gaps between communities through warm food and clothing. Our goal is to partner with area restaurants and use their excess resources to address the needs of our most vulnerable neighbors. We hope to bring the light of friendship to those in need by sharing a meal, some warm clothing and basic comforts through direct connection in the communities where we find them.
What We Do
We transform excess quality ingredients from local restaurants and food purchased at wholesale using generous cash donations into meals for our neighbors in need.
By partnering with area businesses, including, Smart Wash in Franklin Park, we are able to donate gently used quality clothing to the communities we serve..
Our volunteers also sort and package soap, shampoo, oral hygiene products and other toiletries that are distributed to those we serve.
